Hi, I have found my grandmothers burial in city rd she is buried with other family members,they are all general portion ground and she is unconsecrated.is there a reason for this.

Will check it out but they both mean the same General/Unconsecrated.
If the two terms were used it would be difficult for the search to bring them all up as you can imagine.

PS. It does turn them ALL up on find in same grave so its just the terminology that was used and all the ones including Hannah 1939 used General Portion.
I dont know when they started using Unconsecrated.
