There are 5 public member trees on Ancestry which clearly have all you have found for Lawrence, with one exception. Heather you seem to have found the correct family in 1921.

Hi all,
Thank you for your messages. Bellew had a daughter born 1915, so that takes out a few of the suspected matches.
I am led to believe he moved around the country, may possibly have been a boxer?
Thanks again

Bellew knew of his daughter but he was not named in her birth certificate. He did however leave her £25 in a trust for when she reached the age of 21 (1936). His daughter was born in Pitsmoor on Woodside Lane.
Hi Dave,
As my first post states- Long shot … but does the name Laurence Shaw Bellew mean anything to anyone?
There may be a chance that he could have been my great grandfather following a recent DNA test by my mother. I appreciate this will never be 100% known.
So my original question was does LS Bellew mean anything to anyone who views the forum with the hope someone may have some information about him.
The Sheffield link as already stated was a girl Lilian born 1915 at Woodside lane Pitsmoor.
Regards -
Debra
Hi Dave,
No this is not the correct person, as his daughter was born 1915.
The name LS Bellew was sent to me by another member who had their DNA tested. There was a family link but I had never heard this name before. Do you know the name of LSB born 1911 father?
It may be that this person has no link but I needed to explore the name.
Thank you
