Where in Sheffield are WW1 Honor Rolls now kept?

There are 3 family members involved:

1. Charles Hector CASSON (known as Chas) - born August 1890 in Sheffield. Working as a canteen assistant/'hotel carver' when conscripted in Feb 1916. He lived with his mother Hannah Timperley at 167 Ellesmere Road, not married. Initially in York & Lancaster Regiment 10th Btn with service # 25075. Went to France 17/09/1916, transferred to East Yorkshire Regiment with # 18889 in Feb 1918. Died as a result of wounds on 27/03/1918 & I have his burial record in Honnechy British Cemetery.

2. Harry Ward TIMPERLEY - born May 1900 in Sheffield. Son of Hannah TIMPERLEY, lived at 167 Ellesmere Road, not married. Unknown what his occupation was at that time, but later his occupations were listed as various steel work occupations. Enlisted on his 18th birthday (May 1918) to KOYLI # 73092 in 2/4 Btn, but no further war service details after that. He survived the war.

3. Frederick Clough Frankland PORDAGE (my grandfather) - born in India 19/01/1888. By outbreak of WW1 he was living in Sheffield (125 Lansdown Road) & married to Evelyn Eyre (nee Timperley) & an Army Reservist, working in Sheffield as a Police Constable. He was in France as one of the 'Contemptibles' on 16/08/1914 with title of Acting Sergeant. His Regiment, the 17th Lancers, were still in India, so he was no doubt assigned to some other Regiment. By October 1916 he had transferred to the Military Mounted Police Corps with # P/5237. He was not de-mobbed until April 1919. We know he visited Sheffield at various times during WW1 - he fathered another baby in Jan 1917, & was visiting his uncle in Edinburgh on Armistice Day (he sent a telegram to his wife on that day, which we still have). After the war, his name was on an Honor Roll in the All Saints Church of England Brightside, which no longer exists. He had been married in this church, which was opposite 167 Ellesmere Road, where he had boarded prior to his marriage, & meeting his wife there. He was a staunch Christian man for the rest of his life. Does anyone know where this Honor Roll is kept now?

PORDAGE If this roll is a paper record it should be with the parish records at Sheffield Archives, Ref PR43, amongst the "Other records not listed".

Otherwise, there may be a clue in those records as to what happened to it. I suggest enquiring at Sheffield Archives.

The war memorials from all saints are now in St George's Church Brookhill. This is now used by the University. The main board has all 3 men named on it and there is another board which has Casson named on it. I will try to post photos
