Hello all , and a happy new year ,

I have a few burials at Wadsley Church where I would ideally like to locate the burial plots, obviously it's nice if there is a stone .

I understand the process of payment to the church to search the headstone survey results and have used this once in the past, however if I've a few burials to search for it can be quite an outlay with no guarantee of results .

Is there a record of burial plots related to the burial records which appear on Ancestry? Or failing this , is there any kind of pattern to the burials? , I'm searching for five or six or more .

I'm happy to travel to search through records myself where possible.

NB The burials I'm after are NOT those of Middlewood Hospital patients

It seems burial records and plots are not always recorded together or at all ?

I do have a similar problem at Winster in Derbyshire , but often have visited plots without stones that satisfies curiosity at many sites in Sheffield.

has 175 results for first name William. Six surname Ellis & variants. Haven't tried others.

I'm looking for plots for Godbehere , Twigg, Higgins , Flinders, there may well be no stones , but appreciate your help.
