She was borne 10 August 1908 Sheffield. I am having trouble finding a marriage for her, tried a marriage to Dennis Hitchen 1946 but her father on that was John Edward. Another site on Ancestry has her marriage to Francis Kirkland Glazebrook in London 1930 but she is on the 1939 census as single cook to a house in Abbeydale, Sheffield. I have found another marriage Winnifred Davison to John W Kilner 1948 Sheffield but cannot confirm it is her. Anybody got any ideas. Thanks.

Barry, not sure if this is significant but here are my thoughts.

Sylvester Davison died in 1927 and in the same grave is Sarah.

Sarah died in 1952 but look where she was living at the time.

You point out that Winifred was still single in 1939 but there is a marriage of her to Edward Slinn in 1942 in the Chesterfield area.

Not yet seen if this marriage has an image on line but could this be who you are looking for?
