Mary Ann Goodall - Burial or Cremation Records

Hi,could you please offer any assistance with locating the resting place of my great grandmother from the details below please:

Name: Mary Ann Goodall
(Was Mary Ann Pearson at Birth, then married and became Mary Ann Pattison before becoming Mary Ann Goodall)
Born: 04.12.1891 Sheffield
Died: 11.05.1954 at 27 St Nicolas Road, Rawmarsh

I can't trace any records of a burial or cremation - are you please able to help?

Thanks in advance.

Try the records for Rotherham

Re: Mary Ann Goodall - Burial or Cremation Records

Contact rotherham bereavement services they might be willing to help. I have some files fir rotherham and no match found. Who was her husband and when did he die?

Rotherham Crematorium only opened in 1962 - so unless she was cremated in Sheffield (contact City Road Bereavement Services), then its obviously a burial.

A municipal cemetery burial would be Rotherham Bereavement Services, for a Church burial you'd probably need to contact Rotherham Archives.

The only place I can think is Rawmarsh St Mary's church but my cd I have does not go to 1954. It was not Rawmarsh municipal cemetery on high street.
