When did the Find My Past website stop having the 1939 'census'? I don't recall getting any notification that it was going and I didn't notice that it had gone until yesterday. It was a useful tool.
The 1939 register is still on FMP. If you click on 'search' on the menu across the top, that brings up a list of all the record types. The 1939 register is listed there.
I think they've just removed it from the top menu as an option in its own right.
Oh thank you Denise. I did try to find it before but I think I was hampered by thinking that it had gone. That they had withdrawn it. I'm very grateful to you.
No problem. To be honest I hadnt noticed it had gone from the top menu either (i tend just do a regular 'census' search ). You'll have noticed they recently changed the logo on the top left and seem to have redesigned the top menu so it might have been removed at that point!
