As a matter of interest, this is a bigamous marriage. Fanny WALKER (SMITH is a fiction) had married Benjamin Blackburn DICKE(I)NSON the previous year and he was still very much alive. She was arrested and spent three months in prison on remand because she couldn't raise £5 in sureties. The judge at the Assizes called her treatment monstrous and released her at once.

BOARDMAN, Edmund (Bachelor, age 23, Miller, residing at 34 Russel St).
Married Fanny Jane SMITH, on April 3, 1899, by S R N Rees (Banns) at
St Jude, Moorfields. Father's name is Edmund Boardman (Painter).
Married in the presence of Harry Boardman, Emma Holland.

SMITH, Fanny Jane (Spinster, age 23, ~, residing at 23 Bower St).
Married Edmund BOARDMAN, on April 3, 1899, by S R N Rees (Banns) at
St Jude, Moorfields. Father's name is John Walker (Slater).
Married in the presence of Harry Boardman, Emma Holland.
