I see a lot of requests for a summer reunion - holidays are tough for many of us. I have more free time during the summer, plus travel for those out of town would be much easier. Lets make the 30th a simple summer keg party (or a Jimmy Buffett concert), like in the 1980's - the place did not matter, the food (if any) did not matter, and even the booze was not the main reason - we went to hang out with people we liked and to have fun. Cheap hall with indoor / outdoor space, simple buffett catering, 2 types of keg beer, some wine (want someting eles, BYOB), and No Dress Code. We do this on a Saturday in late July or early August and charge in the range of $20.00 a head - then we could even arrange a Friday reunion golf outing (it seems that Chip and Joe Chappell like golf). In the end it would cost people the same as the current reunion cost (golf and reunion). I would like to hear what you think - shoot me a short e-mail. If I hear from enough people I will build a list and e-mail it to the reunion comm. on January 2013 and see what happens.
