Bamford, Sarah (of Sheffield, born 1819-06-14).
Baptised August 1, 1819, by M Preston at Sheffield Parish Church, Church Street, Sheffield.
Parents name(s) are Hannah & William (Mason).
The father's occupation in this entry is Weaver rather than Mason.
Historical note: I believe this is the Sarah Bamford who married the colourful Sheffield character Harvey Teasdale who once, as a publicity stunt, 'sailed' down the Don in a washing tub pulled by ducks (they didn't co-operate). Sarah survived his attempt to murder her, for which he served 2 years in prison. He renounced his theatrical past and became an Evangelist. They reconciled and lived together until her death in 1883. She is buried at Wardsend.
