Grave enquiry at City Rd Cememtery Sheffield. Section. Y grave 13910 12 August 1916
I have a “find a grave record “ that shows that FLORENCE SIMMONITE was laid to rest at City Rd Cemetery, Sheffield
12 Aug 1916 aged 6 months .She is a sister of my Uncle Sam ( Florence was born and died before his birth )
Unfortunately I have tried City Rd Cemetery offices and searching on this sites tool bar to no avail.
I am trying to find out if there is a headstone and secondly if there are any other people laid to rest in that same grave.
I don’t live near Sheffield so am not able to get over to look for what May be a needle in a haystack.
Any help would be much appreciated.

If you search for her death on the burial records on here you will find that 8 children were buried in that grave. That was common then but you need to ring Sheffield bereavement Services to be certain though on 0114 273 4567

Find the person you are interested in, then find that person and underneath her there s find in same grave click on that and it will show you who is there.

I have finally managed to get the info which I was looking for.
There are a number of people in that grave as you said ,the BROADHEAD people listed are also of interest.
Can anyone please tell me is there any index that could tell me if there is or not a headstone ? Bereavement services say that their records do not have that information.
