Help needed please.
John Brazer Born 3-12-1883 Died 11-1-1960 Canada.
Married Gertrude Mable Nunn 3-6-1906
They had 8 children including my grandad Fred.
At some point he left his wife & children to emigrate to Canada with a woman he met from work. He was a bricklayer/ concreta. He's not with the family on the 1921 census. Can you help with any information about passenger lists, name of ship, who he travelled with, where he lived, where he's buried?
As a family it wasn't talked about although he did send money home for the children.
I'm carrying on with the research my aunty started as she is unable too now.
Thanks Michelle
Michelle, on Ancestry there is a Public Member tree which contains information on your John Brazer and his new partner. It is clearly genuine because the tree owner has photos of both John and his partner Lucy, and the owner is a descendant of one of the twin daughters they had.
It is also clear that he knows nothing of their origins before arriving in Quebec.
You need to get together with him for your mutual benefit.
Dave
