Creasey Family Research

I am researching the family Creasey (my fathers side) I am currently looking at a branch in cockermouth and workington, cumbria and sheffield areas (seems to differ according to boundary lines at the time of individual records). My grandfather was Sidney Creasey, his father was George Creasey and his father was Isaac Creasey (married to Margaret Kinrade) Do any of these give enough information to see if there is a link with anyone's research?
I have very limited information as it appears my predecessors did not keep records or photographs or even pass on any information. I have pretty much managed to obtain names, bmd and census records with the exception of a couple but I am trying to compile a tree that is full of stories and where possible photographs to bring the 'people back to life' I have so far discovered children in industrial schools, a bigamous marriage (in aftercliffe) and a few military records.
If anyone is able to help or willing to share any more research etc I would be so very grateful. I can be contacted via here or on my email which is sarasazzle@hotmail.com

Re: Creasey Family Research

Isaac Slater Creasey is in quite a few trees on Ancestry if you subscibe.

Re: Creasey Family Research

Yes I have seen that but it appears that a lot of people start trees but don't continue them or just leave them abandoned as everyone I message never replies!

Re: Creasey Family Research

Looking on Family Search: 1881 15 year old steelworker Isaac Creasey was living with his parents in Dronfield, more than likely working for Wilson Cammel & Co on the production of railway line's. In 1883 production was moved to Workington in Cumbria and this is where Isaac Creasey is living at the time of his marriage to Margaret Jane Kinrade.
The quest to keep on working took some of my ancestors on the same journey from Dronfield to Workington, along with thousands of other Dronfield families in the 1880s

Re: Creasey Family Research

Thank you so much for your response Will...im unsure how long ago you posted this as I had no notifications of any. That's really interesting to know...thank you. I will look into Dronfield as its another area I know very little about
