Also been trying to pick up Amelia Dronfield Gregory birth on GRO to possibly confirm mothers name. Tried variations on her name but still not finding unless it's just me....
I think you may be looking for Milly Dronfield, birth registered 1880 D, Wortley. MMN = Cooper. 1881 Census Ann Dronfield (W) is in Oughtibridge. With her are several children icluding Emily, 5 months. There is also Matthew Gregory, lodger. Jan 12 1890. Ann Dronfied(W) and Matthew Gregory marry at Church of Ascension, Oughtibridge. Ann's father was George Cooper. 1891 census Matthew and Ann Gregory. Family includes Milly Gregory, 10y. I hope this checks out. Anne
