Thank you all for your help really appreciate this. Didn't know about the Brodsworth connection. I think this must be the right Samuel a farm labourer. I followed the info and got to the same christening 26th Nov 1769.
Parents Jonathan and Mary maiden name Priestley.
Later on in the Hall family Jonathan is used again so looks good. So wonder if they had any connection to Brodsworth Hall.
