Hi,
I am tracing family tree, and came across a birth registration for a family member that no one knows exists ( without asking the actual birth father, my uncle who is in his 80s). I am wondering if the record was for either a stillbirth or possible name change. My aunt and uncle had another child registered in the same year and the same quarter on BMD.

It sounds like a double registration. Does one of the records have the words "Occasional Copy A"?
