For those of you that have been watching the FIRE situation in Canada today the smoke is back in the Ottawa area. Its from the 142 fires in Quebec with something like 32 of them out of control.
Within minutes its hard to breath if outside and we are being encouraged to stay indoors.
This is definitely the worst summer for fires in the 55 years we have lived in Canada.
Come on down to Guelph Elaine, right now we have low risk readings for air pollution. I guess the winds are in our favour, hopefully things will improve very soon in the Quebec and Ottawa areas and for the folks on the west coast.
