Me again - sorry! I have two occupations in the 1881 census which I am having trouble deciphering.

It looks like 17 year old Kezia Thompson is working as a 'Button Ledger' ??

And, her younger brother, James aged 13 years old, is a 'Scrab Cutler' ??

Any ideas, please.

Amend the surname to Oldham!

I think it was the 1871 census where you found them.

I believe Kezia was noted as being a BUTTON EDGER
and James was a SCRAP CUTTER.
