No joy at city road bereavement services she is not buried/ was not cremated at city road and Grenoside was not open in 1973 therefore maybe hutcliffe Woods or buried elsewhere? Any help would be much appreciated

I just had a look for Florence on FMP and on the 1939 index she was living
at 49 Studfield Cres, Wisewood.

Was she living there when she died?

The closest cemetery would be Wisewood Cemetery on Loxley Road.

Would have thought Bereavement Services would have been able to help.

If she was buried in one of the churchyards of the area (1973) I don't know how recent their (Shef Arch) indexes would be.

Our transcription of Wisewood does cover 1973 but can I suggest you contact
Christine Steers from Friends of Burngreave (Look over at our MI's index) Our good friends at Burngreave were the ones who transcribed Wisewood for us.

Maybe others can come up with suggestions.
