It has been several years since we correspoded. My mother (Elsie Chandler)- her mother was Elvira Louisa Gragg, b.1865, Boone, Wautaga, N. C., dau of wm. Waitsil Gragg. Gill is facing surgery on Jan. 5 for an enlarged aorta & blocked aortas in both groins. He is hoping that that will mean that he can start walking agin, with his friends after breakfast at McDonalds!!!
Our oldest Gr. dau. has 9 mos. left in her last year of rotations and then will have her Assistant Physician's Degree. A gr. dau.(Ashley) who live here has her RN Degree and works locally. Your two daughters are very pretty and it sounds like they are doing well.
Ashley's bro. Adam is a football coach in Kenosha, Wi. which he loves.
I hope that you and your family are all doing well. If you ever get out to Oregon, drop in. We have a RV trailer for your Bed & Gill serves a mean breakfast! Our youngest day. & hubby have "Smokehouse Barbecue & Catering" so we can guarantee you not to go hungry.
I haven't been doing much family research lately, but might do some this winter. This is the first year in 28 years that we haven't gone to Ariz. for the winter. Gill turned 80 in August and I am not far behind. Boy, does time fly.
Love to you and God Bless you All. Wanda

This is a very nice web site, well put together. I am trying to find out any information on my Grandmother "Laura May Gregg" born 12/29/1874 and died 2/19/1950. Would like to find out where she was born and any info on her family. If anyone reading this has any info please let me know. lgmartin1@comcast.net. Thanks

I'm in a serious mode of tracing further back on my "Gregg" side. My dad's name was Robert Kenneth Gregg, one of 4 children (Robert Kenneth, Tresham Dames II, Grace and Ann [twins]), born to Tresham Dames I and Grace Wheaton. He was born in Minneapolis in 1913. I know that Tresham I was born in Chicago, and graduated from U of Minnesota (School of Archetecture). It was in Minneapolis where he met Grace Wheaton. I do know she was of English lineage, and some on her side of the family, later became quite famous; i.e. David Wheaton, the tennis player.
Anyway, any help on geneology going further back than Tresham I, would surely be appreciated.

I am searching for Henry Gregg born about 1820 Fayette Co, Ky. and his parents John W Gregg (son of Samuel the Quaker) and Marcella Gregg. The name of Gregg may have been spelled differently at one time.
Henry was the father of Joseph Gregg 1859-1933 of Scott Co, Kentucky.
