This was my first Boar hunt, I was invited by my good buddy Tracey to head to Georgia to experience what turned out to be the best hunting I\'ve ever done. I was excited but I didn\'t expect anything I was in store for. We both worked on Thursday and then struggled through a 12 hour trip to get to Twin City Georgia. We arrived at the lodge, which for all who are curious about the accommodations they are top notch. I was introduced to the guide Dane Clemens who later I would come to find out is undoubtedly at the top of the sport of hunting hogs. He took 1 look at my 400 quart grizzly cooler and said \"not a problem\". His equipment is all top of the line, he takes the time to explain the equipment being used and what to look for and how he operates in the field. First night out for myself was a learning process Dane had his hands full with very little moon light and me never hunting at night but was able to get us on a few different groups and down went 3 real nice pigs, second night after Dane coached me on a few different pointers on hold over and how far ahead to lead we knocked down 8 of them. We rolled north with close to 1100 lbs of meat and an experience that I will talk about forever. My father raised me to follow a few cardinal rules to live by and 1 of the most important is this \'\'do things right the first time around\". If you have even the slightest thought of where to go to hunt hogs Georgia Hog Control should be your only thought. A very big thanks to Dane Clemens for the hunt of a lifetime. Im already lined up for the first week of December to go back and I can\'t wait.

We hunted in the worst conditions possible - it was hot, it had been raining all summer so the crops weren\'t prime for hunting hogs, and we were new to night hunting. We still got hogs. I can\'t imagine what it\'s like when the hunting is great! I highly recommend this service to people who are looking for a fun night of hunting.

This was our first trip to Georgia for a hog hunt. Looked over several options and decided to go with Georgia Hog Control. Best decision I ever made. Dane is an excellent guide who is focused on the satisfaction & safety of his hunters. My son & I hunted 2 nights with Dane and had the time of our live. Within 15 minutes of the first night hunt Dane had us set up on a big boar. We didn’t just sit in one field all night waiting on hogs. Dane spent several hours checking & rechecking fields for hogs. Came back to one of the fields where we spotted 3 hogs trying to cross the road only to find a field with 30-40 hogs. Ended up with 3 large hogs the first night. Second night Dane took us to an area we hadn’t hunted the previous night after receiving a call from one of the farmers. Upon arrival Dane spotted 4 big hogs. By the time we were set to shoot the group had expanded to 10 hogs. While we were focused on 2 hogs Dane spotted a third solo sow charging at us so he stepped in and put her down with 5 rounds from his pistol. What an exciting way to end our hunt. Total of 6 hogs for the trip and we’re already planning our next hunt with Dane. If you’re looking for that night vision hunting experience there is only one place to go – Georgia Hog Control!

Have hunted hogs three times before during the day, but night hunting with excellent equipment and guides makes a very unique experience.

I had my first ever hog hunting experience last night (12/22/11) with GA Hog Control / Dane. I have been a bird hunter (ducks, dove, quail etc...) all my life and hunted all over the world. Before last night I had never shot anything with four legs. Within 30 minutes Dane had me in front of a 225lb Boar Hog. The night vision optics are truly amazing. I actually killed the Boar with 2 shots and we were off and running (truly one of the most exciting experiences of my hunting career). Dane had us in front of 25 more pigs in less than 10 minutes. The rest of the night was truly incredible. Dane and his operation are first class. I will definitely be back and encourage anyone who is considering it, to sign up. It is worth every penny, I am hooked. Thanks Dane, I am now a Hog Hunter!!!!

What a kick in the arse. Absolutely one of the best hunting experience of my 66 years. The hunt was informative and very fun. Shane and Brent did all that was humanly possible to make us enjoy our hunt and to make it a success. We had all the hogs we wanted before midnight. By the way Shane can handle a vehicle in the mud. Every one should try this hunt.
