Ang Sibale ay mapalad na naging bahagi ng destinasyon ng Medical-Dental Mission na nagbuhat sa California, U.S.A. Last November 13, 2007, dumating sa isla ng Sibale ang grupong The Pilipino Community Church(CA,U.S.A.) Ang bayan ng Sibale ay huling bayan na ginanapan ng Medical-Dental Mission. Nauna rito, galing ang grupo sa Lingayen, Pangasinan, Sta. Rosa, Laguna, San Andres, Manila bago tumulak puntang Sibale.

Naging bahagi ng grupo ang Sibale dahil kay Jean Fesalbon Rafols, isang Sibalenhon at anak sya ng dating naging Mayor ng Sibale na si the late Jose F. Rafols. Si Jean ay kasapi ng The Pilipino Community Church, isang grupo ng mga Born-Again Christians na taon-taon na bumibista sa Pilipinas para sa Medical-Dental Mission. Mga 17 katao ang galing sa California at lima katao dito sa Pilipinas ang sumama sa kanila.

Pagdating ng grupo sa Sibale, masaya silang sinalubong ng mga tao sa Port of Concepcion sa pangunguna ni Mayor Boyet Cipriano at Dr. Jenkin Go, ang Mun. Health Officer ng Sibale. Sumalubong din sa grupo ang mga ibat-ibang Christian Groups sa Sibale tulad ng: Jesus, The Way, The Truth and The Life under Pastor Villy Fallarme, The Great Commission Church under Ptr. Salve Senorin-Famarin, Prince of Church under Pastor Dodong Fabrero, Metropolitan Bible Baptist Church under Pastors Lito Fadriquela, Monching Abao and Preacher Nathaniel Fetalino, at ang The New Life under Ptr. Marian Castro at Miguel Fornal.

Higit kumulang sa 500 pasyente fr. 9 brgys.(200 Dental patients at 300 Medical patients) ang na-check-up, nabunutan ng ngipin, nabigyan ng mga gamot at mga multi-vitamins sa dalawang araw na Medical-Dental Mission na ginanap last November 14 and 15. Bago sinimulan ang Medical-Dental Mission, ang grupo ay pumunta muna sila sa Mt. Banderahan kung saan doon sila nanalangin sa Panginoon. Mula sa tuktok ng Mt. Banderahan, namangha ang grupo sa ganda ng Sibale at doon labis silang humanga sa likha ng Pnginoon. Nakita nila ang kagandahan ng kalikasan, malawak na karagatan at mga kalapit isla ng Mindoro, Mariduque, Tablas, Banton, Simara etc.

Ang mga pangalan nang mga nagmula sa CA, U.SA. ay sina: Pastor Narciso Tecson(Pastor Tec), Ellie Tecson, Jean Rafols, Bert Aguilar, Ammie Aguilar, Lisa Toledo, Jose Ignacio, Bing Ignacio, Nina Ignacio(child), Mina Cabatbat, Sheryl Vitancol, Hazel Vitancol, Beth Nadua, Marvin Ortiz(El Salvadorean) Ruth Mercurio, Justin Mercurio(child), Dr. Joven Negos: From the Phil. Dra. Babette Marino-Cipriano, Dra. Espie Marino-Senorin, Arjee de Ungria at Elmer de Ungria.

Tumuloy sila sa bahay ni Mayor Boyet Cipriano at ang iba ay sa bahay ng mag-asawang Leoning at Flor Fabreag. Ang mga sobrang gamot at multi-vitamins ay binigay sa Concepcion Mun. Health Center. Nangako ang grupo na pipiliting bumalik next year sa Sibale. Sa ngalan ng sambayanang Sibalenhon, malugod na pinasalamatan ni Mayor Cipriano ang grupo ng The Pilino Community Church sa tulong na binigay nila. Mula sa Sibale, tumuloy ang grupo sa Boracay upang mag-relax via Dangay, Roxas, Or. Mindoro bago tumulak pabalik sa California....ito si Enten Fadri from Sibale with love....to the rest of the world!

Congratulation to Hyacinth Fabroa Figurasin for passing the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination given last October.She is connected right in an Indian reservation Hospital outside Saskatoon Saskachewan in Canada. Immediately after her passing the said exam she was appointed Charge nurse of her dept.
Prior to her employment in the said Hospital Hyacinth worked at De la Salle University Hospital(Dasmarinas), King Fahad University Hospital (Al khobar K.S.A.). She was also a Clinical Instructor for nursing students of Saint Paul's College (Manila) and De la Salle college of nursing (Dasma.)
We hope and pray, that her success would benefit not only her Family/relatives but also her fellow Sibalenhons. God bless.

I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulation to Hyacinth Fabroa Figurasin for having passed the Canadian Board Examination for Registered Nurse given last Oct. 2007. We, Sibalenhon, should feel proud for such exceptional achievement in foreign country. I do hope this will serve as an inspiration for our kasimanwa to strive to do the same. I do hope too that such achievement will not be the subject of an envy by inggeteros who would rather frown upon or even insult than praise those who have attained success abroad through hard work,patience,dedication and perseverance.
