I congratulate Sibale Def and the Sibalenhons who participated and made Ragipon sa Lipa a success. Mabuhay kayo. Sana maulit pa iyan, hindi lang sa Lipa City pati na rin sa ibang lugar where we have a commnunity of Sibalenhons. The activity is far off better than our indulgence to tongue-lashing over soured issues especially after the Mactan furor.

Anyhow, I'd like to take this opportunity to ask our kasimanua to extend support to Sibale Def undertakings especially from those who have means and have more to share. The college scholarship program which is one of the banner projects of Sibale Def needs our support to sustain its implementation and become a vehicle for our poor but deserving Sibalenhons students to pursue college education.

As one of the convenors of Sibale Def,a SEC registered NGO, I know the noble cause to which this organization was founded so with the birth pains. We should be tahnkful that despite the meager resources and support that Sibale Def gets, it is still able to stand and survive.

So, kung medyo marami kayong naipon diyan baka naman pwede niyong ambonan ang Sibale Def.

good day. i just want to raise my concern over this so-called sibale def. i do hope you could enligthen me and the rest of the voiceless minority members of this organization.

a couple of years ago, somebody went to our house in pasay encouraging me to join this group. believing on it's noble cause, i immediately picked up my wallet. holding the 500 peso bill-the only remaining money inside of it, i gave it to him together with the registration form. this money, according to him would be my registration fee. i trusted him. after a couple of years???? ni "ha", ni "ho", wala. i've got a lot more questions than answers. i am pretty sure, i am sharing these same questions and doubts with a lot of our "kasimanwas".

now, for the benefit of everybody, specially for those whom you are asking for support, may i ask 1.)if i am a registered member of sibale def. if not, then disregard point #2 because i no more have the right to and it would not make sense to me anymore 2.)that you post on this forum the official list of registered members of sibale def; its present officers; current capital,investments and expenditures; list of donors/sponsors; list of projects (accomplished and on-going), etc, etc.

"OPEN BOOK IS THE BEST POLICY" this, i guess, would make sense. please advice your thoughts.

Thanks for your query. Though my status is Ex-Officio (since I emigrated to Canada 3 years ago), let me answer in part some of your querries.

1. Sibale Def issues an official receipt for all donations and membership dues. If you have not received a receipt of your contribution, you can inquire from Amy Miranda Labora whom I know has the listing of Sibale Def membership.

2. I can ssure you that the money you have contributed was used by Sibale Def in good faith. Sibale Def has sponsored a Sibalenhon scholar in the last two years in UP Los Banos. I am not privy if by this time Sibale Def has still the funding for that scholar. I was not informed.

3. The annual Sibale town fiesta being celebrated in Luzon is a project of Sibale Def so with the Ragipon Sa Lipa lately.

I wish I can give you all the details. I will ask Sibale Def to post the activities currently being undertaken and give our kasimanua some insights on what is going on with the Foundation.

however, all the rest of us would be more satisfied if my other requests could be answered by the present officers of sibale def. maybe some of them are constant visitors of this forum. i just hope they could adopt and embrace the open book policy and bring the organization nearer not only to the officers themselves but to all its members as well. pag ginawa nila ito, mawawala ang mga pag-aalinlangan, mas marami ang magkakagustong maging miyembro, the more will heed to your call for support.
