Site Analytics

Hi,
I'm using the the analytics provided as part of your hosting and I'd like to know if you have specific definitions of each of the metrics. I'm also comparing it to my Google Analytics and they are quite different. If there is any documentation anyone knows about this, that would be great!
Thanks,

Cinthia P.

Re: Site Analytics

Trust Google Analytics more so than Bravenet. I much prefer Google Analytics over any other service. Just make sure that you have the Google Analytics code in the HEAD section of the index page. Also make sure to include the following META tags in each of your pages:

Code:
<head>

<!-- META TAGS SECTION -->
<meta ="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
<meta name="description" content="YOUR DESCRIPTION" /><!-- Change this on each page -->
<meta name="keywords" content="YOUR KEYWORDS (separate with a comma)" /><!-- Change this on each page -->
<meta name="robots" content="INDEX, FOLLOW" />
<meta name="rating" content="General" />
<meta name="revisit-after" content="5 Days" />
<meta name="author" content="AUTHOR" />
<meta name="copyright" content="COPYRIGHT OF ?" />
<meta name="distribution" content="GLOBAL" />
<meta name="googlebot" content="NOODP" />
<meta name="language" content="english" />
<meta ="Content-Language" content="en-gb" />
<meta name="no-email-collection" content="http://www.unspam.com/noemailcollection" />
<meta name="web_author" content="WEB AUTHOR" />
<!-- END META TAGS -->

</head>

Re: Site Analytics

Thank you Peter! Are those meta tags for Google Analytics? Or for general SEO?

Thanks again.
