When Athlone Tri Club started 2 and a half years ago, we had one particular member who was very new to running and struggled to keep running for more than 1 lap of the track!! Last Sunday she completed the Limerick Marathon in a shade over 4 hours which is a fantastic time!
It was fantastic to see someone get so much pleasure from achieving a goal and getting rewarding for hard work, at the finish line!!! Congrats to Jackie Dunning and also a special mention to her (and all our run) coach Mick Murphy. GO JACKSIE....
