Garmin watch??

Hi,

I'm looking for a fairly standard garmin for marathon training new or second hand. Something cheap and cheerful purely for pacing and distance.

Can you add me to David's thread. I've (foolishly) signed up for the half ironman here in Galway so am looking for a Garmin too with a heart monitor on it....thanks

I've been looking for something a bit cheaper than a Garmin but found a Garmin Forerunner 305 GPS Receiver With Heart Rate Monitor advertised at a good price here:

The only problem is that Amazon (US) say they can't send it to my home address. If you can find a workaround this problem it might be worth considering.

Works out around €125 pretty certain(trust me I've been looking)it can't be got cheaper unless you know somebody travelling to the states who can pick it up for you. Probably going to get it myself just trying to decide if I can justify paying twice as much for the 310xt.
