It is a wonderful thing to anticipate the play you are going to see and what a treat "Bubbles" was. We always know we are going to have a great night if it's an "Ade Morris" play and we weren't disappointed this time with "Bubbles". We loved it, from the very beginning, - mother at graveside with sons and that song.. so moving. It encapsulated all of life really.. dad in and out of prison, two sons, two fathers, love and alzheimers.. an odd combination perhaps on the surface but it worked. It was a very moving and sometimes dark and in turns comic piece. Thought provoking as only Ade Morris can be.. an absolute triumph. How he produces this quality of work every time is a miracle. The man is probably a genius!!!?! We are still talking about "Bubbles" and will for a good while yet I think.. Sorry, I should have said of course that the three actors did a fantastic job.. hard to single any out, they were all brilliant.. Charlie, Dirk and of course the inestimable Bubbles herself... what a marvellous character she was.
Thank you so much. Without writers like you there would be no plays at all... Roll on the next one!!
