Came to last Thursday's performance of Of Mice & Men. Just wanted to say bravo to everyone involved in the production - fantastic. In 40 years of going to the theatre, David Ganly's portrayal of Lennie was one of the best acting performances I have ever seen. I have a son with learning difficulties, now in his 20s, and David's interpretation of Lennie packed a huge emotional punch - down to every last nuance it was totally believable and enthralling - a tour de force. Thomas Padden excellent too. Great production.
Thank you for your lovely comments. We're so pleased you enjoyed the production. We'll pass on your kind words to everyone involved.
Best wishes

Re: OF MICE & MEN
I saw Mice and Men on Saturday. I had read the book before and had always found it rough and depressing. Recently I have been helping my son study it for GCSE and still felt that way about it, so I wasn't totally excited about seeing the play but...
I was enthralled - to see such a truly warm and inspiring version of the story! I had missed so much! "Lennie's" acting was utterly fantastic, and I left feeling I had seen one of the best things I have ever seen at the Watermill.
Thank you so much for changing my view and showing me the wonder of the story.
