I have just tried ordering a marriage cert from the GRO and find I do not have the option of a PDF format for eight pounds. I do not need the cert have tried for days to find the Brides family with no luck. Hence the request for the pdf format of the marriage cert.
Is this no longer being made availble???
Info. Benjamin Trickett & Emily Hannah W McCoppin
Sep qtr 1877 Barnsley 9c 176.
Hi Elaine, You might want to look at John McCoppin 1807 - 1858 married Hannah Hartley 1840 Ecclesfield, She married someone else 1863 Barnsley but cannot find out which there are three females and only two males on the ancestry record. regards Barry
Yes part of the same family but not 100% sure how Emily fits in with Mary but there is certainly Trickett & McCoppin marriages other than the one for Benjamin & Emily.A very uncommon name for a start. I think they originated in Ireland. The 1851 census has them living at the "Shambles" in Barnsley John 34 born Ireland Hannah 32 a weaver from Clayworth Notts. The Tricketts were from Wadsley.
Thanks for your input.
Might have to order that 1862 birth to check it out......
