Hi when time allows could someone amend the entry for the marriage in 1918 for the following:

MERREDALE - Edna Rebecca married Albert WALLACE 26 Sep 1918 in the parish of Hillsborough & Wadsley Bridge

The bride's father's name is James Merredale his occupation is stated to be a 'Hardener' which should read according to the copy of the marriage certificate I have to be 'Gardener'

Thanks

PHMB

Re: Transcript

Morning PHMB,

I have checked the original (hard to make out) but I do agree with you and have changed it in our database.

Thanks for letting us know.

Elaine.

Re: Transcript

Thanks Elaine for sorting that amendment.

Sadly Lance Corporal Albert WALLACE died soon after he married Edna Rebecca MERREDALE in Sep 1918.

I see you also have an entry for Edna Rebecca WALLACE who remarried after WWI in early 1921 - she married Bertie HUDSON on the 8 Jan 1921 in Wadsley. I have now traced my copy of the certificate for this marriage which quotes her father's occupation as 'Gardener'.

Thanks once agin for your assistance!
