To start the ball rolling, marriage was by banns and the original image says that both parties were of that parish and unmarried. One of the witnesses signed her name "Margaet Ollhme" so possibly a sister.
There was a baptism 10 April 1774 Margaret Oldham daughter of William Oldham, farmer.
Also one 17 Nov 1771 Sarah Oldham, daughter of William Oldham farmer.
Both at Laughton En Le Morthen.
There’s a Samuel Hall aged 85 (agricultural labourer, pauper) living in Laughton en le Morthen in 1851.
If that’s your guy, it says he was born in Brodsworth.
There used to be a section on here "Other local villages" which I cannot now find.
I sent the following information a few months ago:
"The Rotherham and District Family History Society was wound up, I think due to dwindling numbers and a lack of people willing to take over the committee jobs. Assets were transferred to Doncaster and District FHS, and it is mentioned on their "Shop" page:
Doncaster and District Family History Society | Supplier | GenFair
which leads to a list of Rotherham area publications.
(The Doncaster Society always included in their area the whole archdeaconry which includes Rotherham district parishes of Wath, Swinton, Brampton Bierlow and Wentworth.)"
Also: There are transcripts of a number of Rotherham area parishes on Genuki (but not Rotherham itself) arising out of a former job-creation programme based at Wath. Includes Laughton en le Morthen.

Thank you all for your help really appreciate this. Didn't know about the Brodsworth connection. I think this must be the right Samuel a farm labourer. I followed the info and got to the same christening 26th Nov 1769.
Parents Jonathan and Mary maiden name Priestley.
Later on in the Hall family Jonathan is used again so looks good. So wonder if they had any connection to Brodsworth Hall.
All very interesting thanks again.
