Hi,

I have just noticed that my grandfather's name has been transcribed wrongly on the website. He should be Ronald Chryst but it has been transcribed as Arnold Chryst in 1928 at St Bartholomew, Carbrook. Please can this be amended?

I have just checked the original register and it certainly reads Arnold so I can't change it. However in the notes I will add that he was known as Harold.

His name was Ronald, not Harold. I did check the original years ago and read it as it should have been, Ronald. If it can't be changed, then please do add the note to say Ronald.

Hi Claire,

Had another look at it and I can agree with you it should be Ronald. I went back one page and its the way the Vicar writes the letter "R" the reason for the mistake.

I will certainly change it.
