Grandparents were buried at above Church in the Town Centre - Church destroyed WW11.

I was told my relations graves were sent to Hutcliffewood Road Cemetery

Joseph Langton buried 1845 Mary Langton 1851
Elizabeth 1801
Thomas 1804
Edwind 1807

I saw a Hugh Waterhouse Facebook post with a headstone saying the church yard individuals were sent to Wardsend Cemetery.

Trying to find if my relations were sent here.

I doubt very much that they were sent to Hutcliffe as I don't believe it opened until 1974. Long after St James was bombed during WW2.

Resided at Sheffield and buried on 5 Jan 1845 in ? ground;
Grave Number ?, Section ? of St James Cemetery, City Centre.

Have you checked with Sheffield Archives to where the remains could have been removed to?

Just to add.

St James' Church which suffered extensive bomb damage in WW2. In 195O the remains of those buried in the churchyard were reinterred at Wardsend.
