Think I am beginning to see the problem that microsoft edge is geinning to go like google chrome where its defaulting http as in the indexers to https. perhaps it might be worth looking at reverting the website address to as such. Even if I type in http etc in google chrome and log onto the home page when you click on message forum it revets to https

In Edge, when the web address comes up as https it will have a warning triangle to the left of the address and say 'not secure'.
Right-click on the warning triangle and you'll get a pop up window
Select 'permissions for this site'.
Scroll down the list to 'insecure content'.
The box on the right should say Block (default)
Use the drop down to change the option to 'allow'
Close that tab which takes you back to our site
A message at the top will tell you to 'refresh' the page.
Select refresh and the site will return as 'http' and everything should work.
If you want to use Chrome I can send you a list of things to try?
Could you update me on things to try regarding Chrome. I'm still unable to access via tablet (chrome) can only access forum on tablet via incognito. Regards

Not sure if this is my pc but Microsoft Edge Browser has just updated to a newer version on my pc and now even though I can access the indexers site it wont let me access the forum (using Firefox for this post) I was wondering have others encountered the same problem.

Having same problems with site. Not been able to get on through Chrome for weeks unless I right clink on the links and it opens in a new tab. Now unable to get on Microsoft Edge on my PC now either as get a message saying site/ form is nor secure. What is happening? Don't want to have to download a third browser.
I'm having trouble too. I use Chrome and had to right click to open in new browser which worked for a while. I then reverted to Edge which worked for a while but today I've downlaoded Firefox which seems to be working ok. Fingers crossed.
So sorry to see that a number of you have problems with the new security updates from some of the Browsers. DeniseL our Webmaster will try and help you as much as she can. BUT please let me know if you have problems.
In the mean time good "old" Firefox works well. Our site is 20 years old next year and the scripting is old and may cause more problems if we try and change it. So you can see we are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
Any update on this problem? I have been experiencing this as well - I generally use AVG Secure Browser which is similar to Google Chrome. When I enter a name to search (baptism, marriage, school etc.) and press the search button, nothing happens.
The solution is harder than you would think to this security issue/browser.They have added a security feature as in http to https which is causing us the problem.
I am sure DeniseL our Webmaster will contact you.
I know Firefox works well.
Any suggestions? Please let Denise know as I am an IT novice still after 20+ years. LOL.
