Is it possible that the Edith baptised on 18th November 1877 is a second child called Edith, named after the one that died in October and so hence the one that died born 1874 and no baptism found yet.

Not sure on that one....the next child I have was George Ibbotson born 20 October 1876 at same address 4 Court Dun St.

Can I ask......seeing that Edith Ibbotson was baptised (albeit error on date) would her parents have had to register the birth to allow them to have her baptised?
