During a renovation of Ottos restaurant on Sharrow Vale Road Sheffield S11 8ZP an old Nurserymen and Growers "ghost sign ' was revealed . as the owner of an organic greengrocers a couple of doors down with a specialist interest in seeds and growing I would be fascinated to find out more about who these growers were and when they were trading . If any one has any more info that would be just great ! thank you in advance .

Hi Moya,
My 4x great-grandfather James Bell was a gardener and nurseryman in Sharrow Vale, until his death in 1853.
He grew strawberries.
He lived at a house called Stoker Cottage but I don’t know exactly whereabouts that was in Sharrow Vale.
