And especially to those of us in Ontario with a freak wind storm toppling many of our huge tree causing power outages. Many days of clean up called for. Our thoughts are with you.
We have just had power restored to us but many in Ottawa are still without power.

Hi Elaine,
Despite the fact I have a couple of massive trees on the property, there were just a few twigs to pick up, (the Good Lord took pity on me).
Much different story for my friends across the road, a huge tree limb fell, just missing his house.
I remember well the Sheffield hurricane that breezed through, back in the late fifties, demolishing a chimney pot and a few slates from our roof, unfortunately, they fell on my future hubby's Lambretta scooter. We both were just stepping out of the front door at the time, so again, Thank you Lord.
