Hello,

My Dad has recently passed away and I'm trying to find out where his Mums grave is, she's called Phyllis Stables and waa buried in Burngreave Cemetery in 1952/3 quite possibly June 1953 at 32 years of age. Any help would be gratefully received as I'm hitting brick walls

To help you trace not only Phyllis.... this is how you need to proceed.

First check the GRO (General Registry Office) site for her death or FreeBMD.

She is there.https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates

Next go to our Burial Records over to the left.......

She is there in Burngreave..........

If you have any difficulty finding her just get back to us and we will help further. It's more interesting searching yourself than us just giving you the answers.
