Re Grave condition City Road HH 4850 Whitham

Can you please advise who can tell me why this plot is now flat and facing the wrong way? Who was responsible for doing this. What is the best way to approach this matter to get the grave restored to the original size at no cost. Such a shame!

The original headstone was upright as I remember and with all the correct stones in place.

This was a practice put in place by Sheffield Council a number of years ago.

I would suggest you contact Bereavement Services at City Road Cemetery and they should be able to give all the information.
