Hi, I am looking for Tinsley Park cemetery on the site. Am I looking past it, does it go under another name? I am looking for Charlotte Wand who, according to Findagrave was buried there in 1962. Thanks, Ken

Tinsley Park Cemetery is administered by City Road Cemetery. Their records are held at
Sheffield Archives,

S&DFHS transcribed Tinsley for the National Burial Index. Dates Covered 1882 to 1973.

My copy reads.

WAND, Charlotte (, died on ?, at the age of 76).
Resided at 12 Makin Rd, Sheffield and buried on 17-08-1962 in ? ground;
Grave Number ?, Section ? of Tinsley Park Cemetery, Tinsley.

You would have to contact Bereavement Services at City Road if you wanted more info.

George WAND buried 1 Jun 1962 aged 20 a Labourer of 22 Mandeville St/ Lees General 8A 2869 General Portion

I can see from findagrave that Charlotte is buried in plot 8A 2869 gp.

According to the plan of the cemetery below:

That 8A is at the top of the cemetery and her plot number is 2869.

That is what I have noted in my previous post also buried with her is George Wand.
