Family Search via FTM says his burial was at Tinsley and I've looked through their records and could not find it.

I've looked on your site and can't find it either.

He died in 1908 in third quarter

Ancestry has turned up nothing.

Can anyone give me help please?

Tinsley Park is one of the cemeteries operated by Sheffield Council/ City Road. You need to contact Bereavement Services at City Road who should be able to help you.

The NBI that was transcribed around 2000 and S&DFHS assisted with it. It is probably their transcription that you are seeing on FindMyPast. The cut off date for the NBI I believe was around 1910.
