Look up request in 1901 and 1911 Census

Good evening folks

Your help please !
Would SKS refer to the 1901 Census, the family of Joseph and Annie Brackenbury
There should be a daughter Ada, are there anymore children recorded ?

In the 1911 Census William Alfred Ayton and his wife Ada have children Mary b 1906 Robert b 1908
Annie b 1911 ( could have been born either before or after the census ) and Ada
When was Ada born ?

Re: Look up request in 1901 and 1911 Census

Hi Roger,

In 1901, Ada is 17 years old (1884), born Worksop. There is also a sister Elsie aged 9 years. They are living at Moor Mill, Thorpe Salvin, Worksop

In 1911, William 30, Ada 27, Mary 4 and Robert Ayton 3, are living at 17 Murray Road,
Ecclesall, Sheffield.
There is a birth registration Q2 1911, Ecclesall Bierlow for an Annie Ayton,
MMN Brackenbury.

Ada Brackenbury, 22, father Joseph, farmer married William Alfred Ayton, 24, a gas
fitter, father Alfred a carpenter. The marriage took place at Millhouses Lane
Methodist Church, Sheffield.

Moira.

Re: Look up request in 1901 and 1911 Census

Ada Brackenbury was born in the June qtr. 1883. I could not find a baptism for her but I did find one for her sister Elsie at St Peter's church, Thorpe Salvin on 24 May 1891.

William and Ada Ayton had 4 children: Mary (Dec. qtr. 1906); Robert (March qtr.1908); Annie (June qtr. 1911) and Elsie (June qtr. 1915).

William Alfred Ayton died aged 35 and was buried at Crookes Cemetery 21 August 1915. Their daughter Elsie (27) is buried with him - see burial records on here.

Ada Ayton married Ernest Fidler at Wadsley Bridge United Methodist church on 20 October 1923. She was a widow aged 40 and he was a widower aged 27. Ernest was a tramways motor man and his father was Robert Fidler, a silver stamper.(Find My Past)

I hope this is useful.
