Anyone have any info on this marriage ?
I'm hoping that it was William Wilson that she married and both were widowed, but cant find a transcription of it anywhere.
May just have to order it unless anyone has any other ideas?

A rather confusing situation I've made up in my head possibly, but hear me out.
I'm researching my 3x Great Grandmother Ann Day b.1839 and trying to figure out her parents who I believe are Ann Hawley & William Day.
William Day passed away in 1844 - this I've confirmed.
Ann and her 2 siblings then appear in the 1851 census as "daughter/son in law" which I believe was commonly used instead of "step daughter/son" in some of the earlier census's.
The head of the house is William Wilson, Wife - Ann Wilson, given the above assumption my thought was they are her kids, therefore actually making her Ann Hawley.
Then there is this marriage in 1846 between Wilson & Day (her married name) to backup this theory.
Prior to this William Wilson married Ann Day in 1835, who I believe to be William Day's sister (marriage & baptism record for both is on here) who also died before 1851, but given there are
William's children from his prior marriage are also on this same census and GRO confirms Wilson/Day born.
----
A counter theory to the above is that :
Ann Day (Hawley) had also died before 1851 but Ann Wilson (Day) hadn't so adopted the children of her brother.
This marriage I've found is completely unrelated and pure coincidence.

I think from a bit of research your assumptions are correct.
I found Francis Wilson (son of William) living with Benjamin Day and wife in Bradfield on the 1841, I believe Benjamin is William and Ann Day's father?
An update on this for anyone interested.
I purchased the marriage cert.
William Wilson - Widower - Bradfield - father William Wilson (Wheelwright)
Ann Day - Widow - Bradfield - father Joseph Hawley (Shoemaker)
John Wilson & Matthew Stringer witness
So it seems my suspicions were correct!
Whats interesting is that they were married in Ecclesfield Parish, which I assume is St Mary?
Which I understand is Sheffield, yet the registration district fell under Wortley, which is Barnsley
--
I guess this explains it
It was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972, with the parishes of Bradfield and Ecclesfield going to the metropolitan borough of Sheffield and the parishes of Tankersley and Wortley going to the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley.

Final point, are there plans to index the St Mary records in the future?
