In the Other Historical Info section to the left of this page, there is an Obits & Newspapers section and within there are Sheffield Telegraph acknowledgements.
There is an entry for Ayton, no Christian name / gender, but a Fidler family relationship stated.

Could someone with appropriate access to records tell me the christian name of the Ayton family member, their age, whether married and to whom and the time period involved.

There is a date quoted, 13th March 1943

Noy saying this is who you are looking for but if you go onto the burial section on this site put Ayton in the surname box and click search scroll down and there is a burial for an Elsie Ayton aged 27 on 10 March 1943 Is this yours?
