First Wife of Harry Burkinshaw

My great great aunt Edith Smith married Harry Burkinshaw, a Police Constable, in 1903, in Sheffield. He was a widower, with a 5 year old son, also called Harry. I am guessing that after his first wife`s death, Harry went back to live with his mother and two sisters, taking his 3 year old son with him, as on the 1901 census his occupation is given as Railway Constable. Is this the same person? Who was his first wife and when did she die?
Many thanks in advance

Re: First Wife of Harry Burkinshaw

Kate BURKINSHAW is buried in grave H167 in Wardsend Cemetery (St Philip's parish). These are the burials in this grave:

H167 (Plan H2, MI recorded)
HALLEWELL Sarah Ann 13 Jan 1886 Hammond St 20y wi Albert
BURKINSHAW Mary Alice 3 Mar 1900 7 Bellfield St 5y da Harry
BURKINSHAW Kate 15 Jun 1900 7 Bellefield St 30y wi Harry
BURKINSHAW Sarah 8 Jan 1923 3 Bellefield St 78y
[name/date of burial/address/age/description]

There is a small gravestone with the following inscription:

H167
In loving memory of
S.A.H. M.A.B. K.B.

If you send me an email I can send you a photo of this gravestone.

I also have an obituary of Sarah who I assume is Harry's mother. It highlights the family's involvement in the Salvation Army and mention's Colonel Burkinshaw of Melbourne Australia.
