Two children Joseph Redfern born 1874 and Mary Jane/Ann Redfern born 1876 both died on 4th April 1878 and are buried in the General Cemetery the GRO has the birth and death as Mary Jane the gen Cemetery has Mary Ann but nevertheless what I was wondering is could there have probably been some sort of incident which resulted and hence any info in the papers. I have had a quick look on FMP but nothing showing anyone have access to other sites which they could check please?
It might be that they were both sick if some disease was about and therefore nothing will be in the papers.
Probably died of some Childhood Disease. Nothing more sinister than that.

Resided at 55 Rockingham St and buried on 07 Apr 1878 in ? ground;
Grave Number 7050, Section J 14 of General Cemetery, Sharrow.
You could purchase a PDF Copy of the death cert of one of the children and you would know for certian.
Looking at our maps under Burials you will see that J section looks to be in the unconsecrated section.
