ELIZABETH WARREN 1824-1876

My 2 x great grandfather, John Deakin, was born in Dublin 1823. He married ELIZABETH WARREN at Sheffield Parish Church on the 1st. of April 1844. John gave his age as 21, living on Allen St. ELIZABETH gave her age as 20, living on Backfields, father's name, John. The couple are found on the 1851, 1861 and 1871 census living in Sheffield, ELIZABETH gives her age as 27, 37 and 47 years respectively, born in Sheffield. Elizabeth died January 16th 1880 and was buried at St. Mary's, Bramall Lane. My brick wall is that I cannot find anything about ELIZABETH WARREN prior to her marriage, no baptism, parents or siblings. I would be most grateful if someone on your wonderful forum could 'knock a few bricks down' for me.
Jeannette.

Re: ELIZABETH WARREN 1824-1880

Thank you Terry but this is not my Elizabeth Warren. This young lady is still living with her parents on the 1851 census whereas my Elizabeth had married in 1844. There is an Elizabeth Warren on the 1841 census, age given as 15, living with a Mary Smithson on Lambert Street but I cannot find any parents for her.

Re: ELIZABETH WARREN 1824-1880

Hmm quite a difficult one to pinpoint exactly, one lead could be what I assume to be her brother on the 1861 census, Francis Warren living with them, but I seem to have drawn a blank with him too. The only possible match is a Richard Francis Warren, but it just doesn't quite fit.

Re: ELIZABETH WARREN 1824-1880

Thank you Richard for your reply. Francis drew a blank for me also. Regards, Jeannette.
