Where is the plot William henry Smith and why removed from parish
Hi, William brought a plot to Bury his daughter rose ellen smith in 1905. In 1940 his wife was buried here and a month later himself. the plot is 62 - F3 burngreave cemetery. I have also just found that William and his wife have been removed but their daughter has not. Does anyone have any ideas where abouts on the grounds this is and why would the parents be removed from the parish but not the daughter......

I think being removed meant they were taken from the parish where they lived to be buried not actually removed from a grave. I am sure someone has posted about this action before.

Go to burials over to the left. At the top of the page click on Maps. Then you can select Burngreave and it shows where all the sections are.
