I am trying to trace the ancestors of Edward Truelove born about 1841 and who married Sarah Jane Hickey. I think Edward's father was Isaac Truelove (born about 1814) but I am not certain.Edward was a brass caster. Any help appreciated.

It is confusing as the 1841 census image on Ancestry has Isaac as running a beer house whereas you say he was a bricklayer. Is there anyway I can reliably access Isaac's parents?

Nigel, there was nothing to stop a bricklayer from also running a beer house.
