Trying to find any info on a soldier.
This is private M. Moahi.
No christian name is known.
I believe His number was EC 13813.
African Pioneer Corps served in Palestine 1945-48.
Not related to this person.
Would anyone have access to any records.
His christian name, year of birth.
Or where abouts he was from.
For security of personal information reasons you cannot get any information on service records for soldiers of WW2 & later by any way other than paying the £30 to buy them ; because of Covid the current wait is about 9 months. You need to be a relative, ideally next of kin. See

Mark, you can actually get limited info from the records. If you declare you are a researcher, ie not related, they will provide you with more limited info which surely must include full name and regiment etc. They will withhold personal info.It will still cost £30 and in good times it can take 6 months. Of course as John said there is currently an even longer delivery time.

Hi Mark, There is a record on Ancestry for a M moahi in: UK, Military Campaign Medal and Award Rolls, 1793-1949 if someone can access it for you. Regards Barry
